2026 group exhibition Salt Spring Gallery

Artherapy: Ghosts in the Session ran at the Salt Spring Gallery, 135 McPhillips Ave, from July 31 to August 19, 2026. Three artists: Shannon Wardroper, Jovian Wiefelspuett, and me. The opening reception was July 31, 5 to 7 pm, for anyone who enjoys wine in close proximity to feelings.

The installation is a booth. You enter through a red curtain, past a Conditions of Entry notice written in the dialect of an end-user licence agreement. By stepping past it you agree, among other things, that the exhibit may perceive you back, that you will say "that's so weird" no more than three times, and that breakthroughs left unattended after closing become property of the exhibit. Nobody reads these. That is also sort of the point.
